Sowie it's been so long, I have been one busy hounddog! Plus the humans computer has been on the blink and well, still is 90% of the time. So I have to catch that 10% when I can.

As soon as I get a hold of a camera, you should see me now, I am a big girl, and wild as a buck too. I can NOT get enough play time. I play play play all the time. I bounce from sofa to sofa and the humans LOVE IT. They laugh till they cry. I should have been born with wing!

Morning! I'm up early :)

I crapped all over the laundry room, hehe. I think I got some little bug from the kennel or I'm just stressing. Five piles of doody is in there stinking up the joint and mom is PISSED! I couldn't help it though, hope she gets me some meds cause I couldn't stand the smell either.

Mom got several pictures of me in my new Summer dress, maybe I can post some of them later. I may not get to stay out much if I keep crapping all over the house.

She tried to put that sequin hat on me several times. I kept biting her though, BITE BITE, I hat that thing. Who wears sequins hats these days? Besides L'il Momma, they are so 80's. If they are making a come back, I MIGHT (stressing might) give it another try. Later.....

Gotta go, really, gotta go..............(tummy rumble)

Speaking of sisters . . . .

I've kept in touch with one of my bruthers and one of my see-tahs. Here is sissy, her name use to be Anna Belle, but they have changed it to TAZ. Not sure why....... She's just a big smiler who like to show of those pearly whites :)

Doggy Donut Treats (w/icing)

Well, my family is home from vacation. While I would LOVE to tell them what I did while I was at the kennel, that is for me to know and them to find out.

Mommy don't think I saw her, but I seen her cry when she dropped me off, but I completely understand. It was the first time she ever left me anywhere for a long time. (Well, it was only 5 days, but seemed like a year!!) They were nice there, they played with me and even washed my toys :)

So, they got home, like I said, and with fun goodies for me. I got 2 outfits, a hat, a new collar with a cross charm, basset fridge magnets for mommy, a bandana, a racoon toy, and a VERY VERY tasty donut treat that took me no time to put away in my little tummy. So good in fact that mommy hunted up the recipe:

Doggy DonutsIngredients:
2 Cups whole wheat flour
2/3 Cup beef broth
1 egg, beaten
3 Tablespoons uncooked oatmeal
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400°F
Mix flour, egg and broth well in a large bowl.
Add oatmeal and garlic powder. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed.
Roll dough to 1/2" thick on a lightly floured surface.
Cut the dough with a donut shaped cookie cutter or use one large and one small circular cookie cutters to create the donut shapes.
Carefully place each donut on a lightly greased or non-stick cookie sheet.
Bake 10-15 minutes.
Watch to avoid burning.
Remove donuts from oven to harden, or turn off oven and leave donuts in oven to harden.
If you choose to allow the donuts to harden in the oven watch them to avoid burning.

1 cup yogurt chips or vanilla white chocolate chips
1/4 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 tablespoon of vegetable powder to color the icing
Vegetable Powder Examples:Pink- beet powder
Green - spinach powder
Yellow - turmeric
Melt vanilla chips in a double boiler.
Add vegetable oil and coloring powder.
Lightly dip the tops of the donuts in the icing or spread a thin layer of icing on the donuts with a knife.
You can also use doggy donut crumbs as sprinkles to decorate the tops of your doggy donuts. Place the donuts on waxed paper to dry.

If you fix these, tell me if you like them too. I think mom mentioned to my human see-tahs that they were going to make up some for Christmas.

I'm lying on cat sheets, how weird! Mom's gonna have to get some doggie sheets or something. But I can work with this at the moment.

Hey! Here, I'm at the vet. NOT FUN! I got 3 shots and my nails clipped; I almost chewed the arm off the vet. "Almost," gotta show them who's boss.

But, however, it's not me, it's the cat that was sitting at the front door......I got cat slapped, I was so embarrassed. Everyone in the waiting room was laughing.



I'm getting to be a big girl, I was 12 lbs today!!! The first of June I was only 5.




I had a hard day, and my butt hurts!

man, I'm parched!

I didn't think I would ever get a chance to be on the computer again. Those human kids were home all day yesteraday. No time to myself at all.

My teeth are falling out! It hurts to bad to chew up my treats. I push it to the carpet and then hide it behind the couch. Mom keeps getting them and throwing them away. DANG HER! I want it, it just hurts to bad to chew it.

Daddy was playing with me yesterday and noticed blood on moosey, so he said another one is fixen to come out. I keep this up and I'll need some bubba teeth to chew up my food.

I'm learning a new trick, sitting up on my butt. It's really fun, my human sister is teaching it to me. I've almost got it down to a tee.

Mom has alot of new pictures of me, I'll go threw them as soon as I can.

GOTTA RUN...I just heard daddy's alarm go off!!

Right now, my human family is grieving. You may have seen in the Decatur Daily Sunday, my human Nanny died; Bobbie Eubanks. She called me her Grand-Dog. She totally loved my kisses! Please come back cause my mommy wants to sell some of her items and all the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

As soon as I hear something from the humans, I'll pass it on. Sometime when I bark alot they put me in my kennel. (I'm trying to work on that)

I got 3 new collars today and they are too cute. They make me look even more wonderful. Anymore cutier and I get all mushy mushy. Here is one, and one I shared with someone else below. (The other you'll see soon enough)







I'm always talking about li'l o'l me, because it's a good subject, but I want to mention my canine sister today. This is her before......a few months ago. Her name is Michelle. Not sure what she, part badger, part unknown






She is very shy. I really like her, but she don't seem to like me very much. Yesterday she did let me lick her nose thru the fence. I think she is warming up to me. This is another picture of her. She is VERY VERY hairy. Thick black hair! She looked worse than this, this morning. I can't believe she don't groom herself better. I guess with her old age, you know women, sometimes they just let themselves go......*LOL*



Anyway....here she is now. She got a Summer Shave. I must say they (Pat's Poddle Parlor in Hartselle) did a terrific job on her, she kept complaining about being hot.




See that skull collar....it's mine, wasn't that sweet of me to share? I think it looks better on her than me anyway. Although, that little human loves skulls, she'll make mom buy me another one soon.


Mom got them from camillesstudio/comfy collars and she's even got some new ones up today. I've got to learn how to use that Etsy site myself :):) I can shop while the humans sleep!!

Speaking of sleep, I got to act like it before they get home. Mom is home, almost asleep herself, but the others (I heard) went to a ballgame.

Tomorrow, I shall have my own REAL paparazzi chasing after me! And I mean chase :)

Mom sent my pic to the paper for the chance to be in the Daily Scrapbook on Saturday. Instead they want to do an article on little o'l me. (They love me...they really really LOVE ME! lol) So, tomorrow someone is to come and take my picture. Don't think for a minute it will be easy either. I'm gonna make him work for his money. (Does the pictures of me eating mom's camera not a dead give away? huh?)

Nah really though...I do like my picture taken, but I can't tell anyone that. If I do, the next thing I know is that they will start painting my toe nails and sticking those dang bows in my hair and I am just not that kinda girl. I'm a redneck woman....girl....okay, HOUND DOG!

Mommy got so scared last night.

It was late, daddy got me and took me outside to do my business (and you know what business I mean! I'm not buying a car!). When I came in mommy gave me one of those delicious treats. I like them so well that I ate it whole. I got a little choked on it. Mommy cried & cried, I barked once to let her know I was okay, but she still cried. She had no idea what to do, but I was working it out. I really was.

For several minutes I ran around like a crazy dog. I finally puked it all up on the new rug! Mommy grabbed me and gave me all kinds of hugs and kisses. I didn't mean to scare her so bad.

After all that, then she fussed at me for eating it whole! WELL, HELLO.....I'm a dog! She said she wasn't buying those anymore and for the few left would be broke into pieces. I don't care, as long as I get them, it don't matter to me what she does with it.

Mommy wasn't all in my face this weekend with that dang camera. They were to busy going swimming and going to the little human's ball games.
